Weekly Meditation Classes

Suitable for everyone, these drop-in meditation classes offer simple practical methods to improve the quality of our life and develop inner peace. These classes focus on using Buddhist understanding to help us solve our daily problems, let go of negative minds and find the lasting happiness we seek. Like a Cloudless Sky – Meditations for a Clear Mind

Learn meditations to uncover the pure, essential nature of your mind, which lies beneath the usual turbulence of distracting thoughts. Through practicing these meditations we will experience the immediate benefits of a calmer mind and as we gain familiarity we will start to experience a deeper sense of inner peace, clarity and stillness in our mind, which will cause our usual problems of stress and tension to fall away.

Karma & the Key to Freedom

Karma is the natural law of actions and their effects. By understanding the law of karma we can take responsibility for all of our experiences and learn how to create positive karma and purify our potential for future suffering. In this way we can take control of our life and find real happiness within our own mind.

A New Perspective

In this series we will explore how all the problems of daily life arise from our self-centered perspective. Each week, we will investigate a particular negative state of mind and discover its positive mental opponent. By learning to reduce our obsessive self-concern we will discover how the mind that cherishes others is a powerful method to solve our problems.
