The temple is a nonprofit organization that operates though the kindness of volunteers. By volunteering you will:
• make new friends • be part of creating meaningful events • find volunteer opportunities for all abilities and interests
Some ways you can offer to help: cooking, cleaning, maintenance work, sewing, gardening, building, graphic design… and much more! Whatever your skills, let us know and we will find an opportunity for you to help.
You are welcome to help out at any time, either when you have spare time or on a regular basis. Please stop by, contact us or fill the form here.
You are welcome to join us every other Thursday morning at 9:30am for Temple Cherishing, where we work together to take care of the temple! See calendar for dates.
Working holidays are an ideal opportunity for an enjoyable, rewarding break where you can get to know and work with our thriving community.
Working visitors do a week’s work and receive accommodation, meals and the opportunity to attend general drop-in classes. The work might be gardening, painting, cleaning or ironing. People with building experience and graphic design are particularly welcome!
International Centres are Kadampa Meditation Centers (KMCs) and International Retreat Centers (IRCs). All the profits from courses and retreats at International Centres, including KMCC, support the International Temples Project, so by attending these events, you are engaging in meaningful activities and supporting the development of Kadampa Temples around the world.
