Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada
Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada (KMCC) is located in downtown Toronto in Little Italy, and is the National Temple of the New Kadampa Tradition. The temple is a non-profit organization established to provide people in the Toronto area with the opportunity to learn about and practice Buddha’s teachings and learn concrete solutions to solve our daily problems.
KMCC has arisen from the compassionate intention and vision of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and is dedicated to the happiness and freedom from suffering of every living being.
The spiritual program at KMC Canada provides practical methods for improving our human nature and qualities through developing the capacity of our mind. The program is open to everyone – young, old, working, retired, singles, couples, and families. The centre welcomes people from all faiths and those who do not subscribe to any faith. You do not have to be a Buddhist to take part in the programs or to benefit from them. Please contact us with any questions or for more information about our classes.
A Kadampa Buddhist Temple is a special, holy place, where we can receive blessings and powerful imprints on our minds that lead to deep inner peace in the future. Many Kadampa Temples are being built around the world as part of the International Temples Project.
