Weekly Meditation Classes

Suitable for everyone, these drop-in meditation classes offer simple practical methods to improve the quality of our life and develop inner peace. These classes focus on using Buddhist understanding to help us solve our daily problems, let go of negative minds and find the lasting happiness we seek. Each class consists of guided meditation, a talk and a chance to ask questions. See the ‘What to Expect at a Class’ page to find out more.

This series of classes will be based on the book, How to Transform Your Life, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. This practical manual for daily life shows how we can develop authentic inner peace, overcome daily problems and bring about positive changes in our life that enable us to experience deep and lasting happiness.

Take Control of Your Life

In this series of classes we will establish the foundation of Buddhist philosophy and learn how we can take control of our life by integrating inner peace into our daily routine. We will also come to appreciate our limitless capacity and the precious opportunity we have to improve our self and find real meaning and fulfillment.

Meditation for Daily Life

This series will focus on establishing a daily meditation practice, the root of our future happiness. Through exploring topics such as karma, samsara, faith and wisdom we develop a powerful context for our meditation practice to really start to change our life for the better.

Making Progress

In this series of classes we will explore Buddha’s teachings on love and compassion. The revolutionary practice of cherishing others enables us to become the kind person we all wish to be. Through this our relationships with others improves and we find the solution to many of our daily problems.
