Weekly Meditation Classes

Suitable for everyone, these drop-in meditation classes offer simple practical methods to improve the quality of our life and develop inner peace. These classes focus on using Buddhist understanding to help us solve our daily problems, let go of negative minds and find the lasting happiness we seek. Each class consists of guided meditation, a talk and a chance to ask questions. See the ‘What to Expect at a Class’ page to find out more.

This series of classes will be based on the book, How to Transform Your Life, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. This practical manual for daily life shows how we can develop authentic inner peace, overcome daily problems and bring about positive changes in our life that enable us to experience deep and lasting happiness.

A New Perspecitve

Our instinct is to approach life from a self-centered perspective, but Buddha explained that for as long as we do so we will never solve our problems or experience real happiness. In this short series we will explore the meditations on love and cherishing others that allow us to step out of our obsessive self-concern, and in this way to open up radically new solutions to our daily problems.
