Wednesday learn to meditate

Need we say more? A perfect opportunity to learn the basic practices of meditation.

Each class includes 2 guided meditations, and instructions that can easily be integrated into daily life. 

Through attending these classes, anyone who applies the teachings on a regular basis will get a taste of how a peaceful mind can improve their quality of life.

Marie-Claude Martel has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for 5 years in various places around the world: Barbados, France, Montreal and Toronto. She is a student of the Teacher Training Program at Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada and since September 2012, has been the Education Program Coordinator of KMCC.

Do I have to be a Buddhist to benefit from meditation?

No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.

Do I need to have experience in meditation or Buddhism to attend the classes?

No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.

What do I need to bring to class?

Nothing in particular, however if you wish to take notes bring a pen and notepad.

How should I dress for class?

No particular clothing is required.
