Drop-in Class – can be attended as a series, or just drop-in for 1 class
Learn basic meditation practices that you can easily integrate into your daily life. Each week a new meditation is explained and practised. These classes are designed for anyone who would like to include regular meditation in their life and experience the many benefits of a peaceful mind.

Christine Reeves is a Kadampa Buddhist meditation teacher at Kadampa Meditation Centre Canada. She has been a Kadampa Buddhist and student of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years. She studies on the Foundation Program and teaches the Wednesday night weekly class ‘Learn to Meditate’ at the Temple. Her experience of integrating meditation into her daily life, makes her a practical and sincere teacher.

No. Anyone can learn basic meditation and experience the benefits that come from having a peaceful mind. Buddhists respect all people and are happy to help anyone regardless of whether they subscribe to another faith, or to none.
Do I need to have experience in meditation or Buddhism to attend the classes?
No. All you need is the wish to improve yourself and the quality of your life.
What do I need to bring to class?
Nothing in particular, however if you wish to take notes bring a pen and notepad.
How should I dress for class?
No particular clothing is required.
